ABOUT CALIBRE
Calibre Electrical Systems was founded in 2005, and has specialized in the hospitality industry ever since. Our first project was the relocated Mercury and Eight restaurant - where National 17th now resides. We were quickly thrown into the fire on our next project, as we were tasked with turning the old Palace nightclub into Flames Central (which has subsequently reverted back to what is now the Palace Theatre). We have since been involved in over 50 high profile restaurants and bars throughout Calgary, and have helped our general contractors, designers, and clients build beautiful spaces both on time and on budget.

Dane Choy
Founding Partner
Since starting his electrical career in 2000, Dane has been involved in many high profile projects in Calgary and the surrounding area. After opening Calibre Electrical Systems in 2005, he began the journey of building a company that would focus on meeting the clients needs and handing over a high quality finished product, while staying on budget and within schedule. With an eye for detail and a dedication to craftsmanship, he loves being involved in the electrical industry, and looks forward to being a part of many more exciting projects in the future.
Saied Abdallah
Senior Partner
Starting his apprenticeship in 2003, Saied has over 20 years of experience in the electrical trade. He has worked on large scale multi-family projects, single family homes, hospitality and commercial projects. Saied joined as a partner in 2021, and has taken over as estimator and purchaser, as well as special projects and service coordinator.

Sean has been with Calibre for over 10 years, and has since become an integral part of the company. With an extensive background in fire alarm and controls, and a knack for troubleshooting, Sean is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure the projects are done right the first time.

After starting his career with Calibre in 2017, Tom found a niche in installing specialty LED lighting and controls, including kilometers of LED tape light and controllers at multiple retail and hospitality projects.
